Countdown: PPM Hockey Season 5

We are only days away from the start of the new season at Powerplay Manager. Congratulations to all those who did fantastic in season 4. Comiserations to those who didn't do so well, and a massive kudos to those who got themselves promoted to higher leagues.

Season 5 should be a good one. After 4 full seasons teams have started to establish themselves with their own style of games. Managers like you and I have developed and tested our own training regimes and have established or at least semi-established teams with regular players. Team OR averages have gone from 100 in season 1 to over 300 and even 400 in season 4. Growth, training and strategy have become more integral to winning than simply having "that" player.

Season 5 is where the game REALLY begins. All the hard work now goes into practice now that we're past the honeymoon stage and well and truly into the fully establishe game phase.

Where do you see yourself in season 5? What are your team goals? If you've not thought of these things before now is a great time to do so.

I will leave you with this one thought as we head into the new season... defeating teams is only 10% about having a strong team. Play smart and you stand to do very well!
